• Role of financial markets & institutions
• Basic accounting vs finance

Week 2: Financial Statements & Ratios

• Balance Sheet, Income Statement, Cash Flow Statement
• Ratio Analysis (Liquidity, Profitability, Solvency)
• Hands-on: Analyze a company’s annual report

Week 3: Excel for Finance

• Basic to intermediate Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, formulas)
• Creating financial models & dashboards
• Case: Building a monthly expense tracker or P&L model

Week 4: Time Value of Money

• Present & Future Value, Compounding, Discounting
• Real-life examples: Loan EMI, SIP, FD returns

*Month 2: Applied Finance Concepts

Week 5: Investment Basics

• Stock market overview
• Mutual Funds, SIPs, ETFs
• How to read stock data (price, PE, volume)

Week 6: Personal Finance & Budgeting

• Budgeting, emergency funds, credit cards
• Introduction to tax basics (for salaried people)
• Tools: Use of apps like Zerodha Varsity, Groww, INDmoney

Week 7: Corporate Finance Overview

• Capital budgeting (NPV, IRR basics)
• Cost of Capital (WACC)
• Working Capital Management

Week 8: Banking & Fintech Overview

• UPI, Digital Lending, Credit Score (CIBIL)
• Basics of financial services industry
• Project: Compare traditional bank vs fintech loan offerings

*Month 3: Projects & Soft Skills

Week 9: Financial Modeling (Intro Project)

• Build a simple 3-statement financial model for a company
• Estimate future earnings, cash flows

Week 10: Group Project Work Begins

• Assign project topics (e.g., mutual fund analysis, budgeting app UX, investment portfolio)
• Mid-review and mentorship

Week 11: Resume, Interview & Soft Skills

• How to write a finance-specific resume
• Mock interviews (technical + HR)
• Communication & team collaboration skills

Week 12: Final Project Presentation + Feedback
