As a Financial Consultant, you will participate in consulting engagements and assume responsibility for performing implementation tasks and producing quality deliverables. You will assist your Project Manager to organize and control tasks within the work plan and demonstrate the ability to lead small project teams or small engagements. You must demonstrate the ability to work with the client on an independent basis for short-term engagements with little supervision by a Project Manager

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Key financial resource for implementing ERPNext systems within customer organizations
  • Work with customer’s on facilitating and implementing change management throughout the ERP implementation and providing financial infrastructure services
  • Provide initial and in-depth issue resolution for customer
  • Assist customer with financial data migration and best practices
  • Writing functional specifications for enhancements, integrations and reports
  • Testing, validation, and solution design of all financial processes as well as ensuring common controls throughout inventory and manufacturing
  • Ability to establish priorities while on site as well as communicate effectively with other project team members, customers and project management as well as monitor the completion of project tasks
  • Demonstrate the ability to communicate with all levels of an organization with professionalism and best practice expertise
  • Responsible for timely entry of time and expenses in project accounting system

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree, preferably with a CMA, CGA, ACCA or CPA designation or equivalent work experience
  • 2+ years of experience in Accounts management with relevant work experience
  • Experience with projects focused on Accounts process improvement or optimization on month end close activities, financial consolidations, accruals, sub-ledger reconciliations, reporting, planning and forecasting etc.
  • Prior experience working with accounting software is required
  • ERP Financial Implementation – preferably full cycle (Preferred)
  • Experience in assisting customers to implement best practice processes
  • Strong communication skills, team player, project management skills, while being able to work independently.
