Job Description

Role & responsibilities

  • Work with Global Accounting System leaders and Directors to set Functional Domain application strategy for the Region.
  • Set up strategic milestones and collaborate with local and global Accounting System teams to achieve the goals for the Region.
  • Program and Project Management
  • Accountable for the delivery of Functional Domain projects and Constraint Handling Rules in the Region
  • Responsible for managing Functional Domain projects and Constraint Handling Rules that are under direct care.
  • Consult with other Accounting System Functional Domain leaders and APAC Resource Manager on Resource Capacity Planning and ensure we work on the right priorities while managing available capacity.
  • Work with BP/BRMs, other Accounting System Functional Domain leaders and region/zone managers in identifying Business process issues, plan and implement proactive Business process improvements.
  • Support Transformation & Efficiency team in complying and improving Efficiency. IT Demand Management, Resource Management and Project Management methodologies.
  • Prepare IT Application presentations for Region and Region
  • Ensures that all activities conform with relevant government regulations, company policies, standard and ethics.
  • Identifies opportunities for improvement of work practices and processes.
  • Understands, Complies and implements company and customer's HSE standards and policies.
  • Manages individual priorities and deliverables within the HSE context.
  • Actively encourages a safety and environmentally conscious workplace.
  • Strives to find new ways of improving the work environment.
  • Takes a personal interest (or 'actively own') HSE issues and activities within your area of responsibility - lead by example.

Preferred candidate profile

  • Min 15 years working experience in leading finance domain and finance application.
  • Experience in liaison with Global Senior Management
  • Experience in Finance transformation programs and thought leadership.
  • Experience in IT project management with strong focus on Business Relationship.
  • Experience in Resource management and external partner management.
  • Experience working with multiple domains and matrix organization.
  • Extensive understanding of finance business processes
  • In-depth understanding of business model of global organizations like MNC with centralized finance functions and global IT organization
  • Thought Leadership and innovative mindset.
  • Excellent English (written and oral) communication skills
  • Excellent reporting and presentation skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work across organizations to obtain information and drive for results
  • Systems / accounting applications experience like S/4 HANA Central Finance, Blackline, Coupa, Oracle Hyperion, Tagetik., etc.
