Job Title: Field Sales Officer – Solar Energy

Location: Patna Bihar India

Reports To: Sales Manager / Regional Sales Head

Employment Type: Full-time


About the Role


We are looking for a motivated and passionate **Field Sales Officer** to join our solar energy team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving solar product and system sales, identifying potential clients, and promoting clean energy solutions within the assigned territory.


You will play a key role in expanding our footprint in the renewable energy market by educating customers about solar solutions, developing partnerships, and achieving sales targets.


Key Responsibilities


* Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve monthly and quarterly targets for solar products and installations.

* Identify and engage prospective customers including households, businesses, institutions, and commercial property owners.

* Conduct site visits to assess customer requirements and propose appropriate solar solutions.

* Deliver product presentations and educate customers on the benefits and ROI of solar energy systems.

* Maintain relationships with existing clients to ensure repeat business and referrals.

* Collaborate with the technical and engineering teams to prepare quotations and proposals.

* Follow up on leads, negotiate contracts, and close sales.

* Collect market intelligence on competitors, pricing, and industry trends.

* Ensure timely payment collection and customer satisfaction post-installation.

* Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports to management.


Qualifications & Skills


* Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Business, Marketing, Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field.

* 1 years of experience in field sales, preferably in solar, energy, or other technical product sectors.

* Strong understanding of solar energy systems (on-grid & hybrid) and related technologies is an advantage.

* Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.

* Goal-oriented, self-driven, and comfortable working in the field.

* Ability to understand basic technical concepts and explain them to non-technical clients.

* Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools.

* Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel extensively within assigned territory.
