Job Overview:

We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Field Sales Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales in designated territories, establishing relationships with key stakeholders, and ensuring the company’s products are available and visible in retail outlets. The role demands a hands-on approach with a passion for sales and customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Sales Growth: Achieve monthly and annual sales targets through effective sales strategies.
• Market Development: Identify new business opportunities and expand the company's customer base in the assigned region.
• Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with retailers, wholesalers, and distributors.
• Product Knowledge: Maintain a deep understanding of the company's product range, benefits, and applications to effectively communicate this to customers.
• Promotional Activities: Execute in-store promotions and merchandising activities to drive product visibility and sales.
• Market Intelligence: Monitor competitor activities, trends, and customer feedback to suggest improvements in sales strategies.
• Sales Reporting: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, including daily, weekly, and monthly reports on sales performance, customer feedback, and market trends.
• Order Management: Ensure proper order placement and timely delivery of products.
• Customer Support: Provide post-sales support and resolve customer issues or concerns in a professional manner.

Qualifications:

• Education: Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline. A degree in Sales, Marketing, or Agriculture-related field is a plus.
• Experience: Prior experience in field sales, preferably in the FMCG or Agri-business sector, is an advantage.
• Skills:
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and other sales tools.
• Personal Traits: Self-motivated, target-driven, and customer-focused.
