Job Description

Field Sales & Marketing Executive

Lead Generation & Prospecting

Identify potential clients in industrial sectors (e.g. transformer manufacturers, fabrication shops, contractors) who could need Marvels fabrication / machining / metal product services.

Cold outreach (calls, visits), networking to build pipeline.

Client Visits & Relationship Building

Regular field visits to existing and prospective clients.

Understand client needs, technical specifications, timelines and negotiate accordingly.

Quotation & Order Closure

Prepare & present proposals/quotations based on client requirement.

Follow up persistently to close orders.

Market & Competitor Analysis

Keep track of competitor pricing, capabilities, product innovation.

Monitor market trends in manufacturing/fabrication, identify opportunities.

Coordination with Internal Teams

Liaise with operations/manufacturing to ascertain feasibility, delivery timelines, cost.

Collaborate with marketing to coordinate product literature, trade show or field promotion material.

Reporting & Forecasting

Maintain sales reports, forecast for weekly / monthly / quarterly orders.

Track performance vs targets, maintain CRM or log of leads, follow-ups, closed deals.

Territory Management

Own a geographic territory (e.g. parts of Bengaluru or Karnataka or assigned region).

Plan visit schedules, map potential clients, manage travel etc.

Achieve Sales Targets / KPIs

Monthly / quarterly revenue targets.

Lead conversion metrics, repeat orders, customer satisfaction.

Marketing Activities

Support field marketing campaigns e.g. exhibitions, product demos, trade fairs.

Assist in promoting new product launches to existing / potential customers.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree (Engineering/Production / Business or equivalent) preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years experience in field sales / marketing in manufacturing / heavy fabrication / industrial components.
  • Strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated, result-oriented, ready to travel.
  • Sound technical understanding of fabrication / machining / metal work is a plus.
  • Ability to read basic drawings / specs is desirable.
  • Proficient with basic computer tools (MS Office), CRM use preferable.
