Job Description:

We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Fashion Merchandiser to join our growing export house team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing buyer communication, sampling, order execution, and coordination between design, production, and quality teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle buyer communication and ensure timely approvals (samples, fabrics, trims, etc.)
• Coordinate with internal teams for sampling, production & shipment timelines
• Create and manage tech packs, BOMs, and costing sheets
• Follow up with vendors/suppliers on raw material sourcing and timelines
• Ensure timely dispatch and documentation of export orders
• Maintain TNA (Time & Action Calendar) for each order and report weekly updates
• Research market trends and work with the design team on upcoming collections
• Manage quality checks during pre-production and final inspection
• Monitor shipment tracking and post-shipment follow-ups

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Merchandising/Textile/Clothing Technology or related field
• 2–5 years of relevant experience in an export house
• Strong communication and coordination skills
• Knowledge of garment construction, costing, and export documentation
• Proficiency in MS Excel, TNA tools, and ERP (if applicable)
• Ability to multitask, work under pressure, and meet tight deadlines

Preferred:

• Experience working with European/US buyers
• Familiarity with compliance and quality standards (AQL, etc.)
