Job Summary:

We are looking for a talented and trend-aware Fashion Designer with hands-on experience in retail and strong skills in market analysis. The ideal candidate will have completed a certified course in Fashion Designing and will be responsible for developing customer-focused collections based on real-time market research. This role involves regular visits to retail stores to study customer behaviour and create designs that reflect local preferences and current trends.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular visits to retail stores across different locations to analyze customer behavior, product performance, and fashion preferences.
• Perform market research and competitor analysis to stay ahead of industry trends.
• Design fashion collections tailored to store-specific and regional customer tastes.
• Collaborate with merchandising, retail, and production teams to align collections with market demands.
• Develop mood boards, design sketches, fabric and trim selections, and seasonal themes based on market insight.
• Track the performance of collections and adapt future designs using feedback and sales data.
• Stay updated on the latest global and local fashion trends, materials, and design innovations.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Must have completed a certified course in Fashion Designing from a recognized institute.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in fashion design, preferably within a retail or store-based environment.
• Strong knowledge of market trend analysis and customer behaviour.
• Proficiency in design software.
• Strong communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
• Willingness to travel frequently to retail stores for market study and design research.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with fashion brands operating across multiple store formats or regions.
• Understanding of fabric sourcing, production, and basic garment construction.
• Familiarity with retail sales reports and trend analytics.
