For our rapidly growing fashion vertical, we are seeking a creative and ambitious designer to drive our vision forward. The Role: We are seeking a talented and driven Fashion Designer with a strong passion for outerwear and accessories. You will be the creative force behind our collections, responsible for the entire design process from initial concept to final product. Key Responsibilities: Concept & Design: Lead the design of seasonal and core collections for jackets and backpacks, aligning with the brand's vision and market trends. Research & Development: Conduct thorough research on fashion trends, materials, color palettes, and new technologies relevant to outerwear and bags. Sketching & Illustration: Create detailed sketches and illustrations, both by hand and digitally using Adobe Illustrator/Photoshop. Technical Packs: Develop comprehensive technical packages (tech packs) for manufacturers, including detailed specifications, garment construction details, bill of materials (BOM), and measurement charts. Material Sourcing: Research, identify, and source innovative fabrics, trims, and hardware that meet our quality and aesthetic standards. Prototyping & Sampling: Collaborate closely with manufacturers and pattern makers to oversee the development of samples. Lead fit sessions and provide clear, concise feedback for revisions. Quality Control: Ensure that all products meet the brand's high standards for quality, fit, and construction. Collaboration: Work closely with the founder/team to ensure a cohesive brand message across all products. Qualifications & Skills: Required: Bachelor's degree High proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop). Strong understanding of garment construction, pattern making, and technical specifications. Excellent sketching and design presentation skills. Knowledge of fabrics, materials, and hardware suitable for jackets and backpacks. A keen eye for detail, proportion, and colour. Ability to work independently and manage projects from concept to completion. Nice to Have: Experience working with overseas and domestic manufacturers. Knowledge of 3D design software (e.g., CLO 3D). Interest in sustainable and innovative materials.
