Jain Shawls & Fabrics is a heritage textile and apparel manufacturer from Ludhiana with 40+ years of experience in global exports and high-volume apparel production for leading retailers. We are now expanding into the domestic fashion market and seeking a designer who understands the region’s tastes and trends.

Role Overview

Fashion Designer

Key Responsibilities

• Develop seasonal collections tailored to the North India/Ludhiana market.
• Create sketches, tech packs, and detailed design sheets.
• Coordinate with sampling, pattern master, and production teams.
• Research trends, fabrics, silhouettes, and competitor offerings.
• Ensure fit accuracy, construction feasibility, and final garment quality.
• Work with merchandising on costing and development planning.

Qualifications & Skills

• 4+ years of experience

   in fashion/apparel design (Ludhiana experience preferred).
• Strong skills in 

  Fashion Design

  , silhouette development, and trend research.
• Proficiency in 

  Embroidery, Textiles, and Fabric selection

  .
• Solid understanding of 

  Garment Fitting and Construction

  .
• Creativity, attention to detail, and ability to design for commercial success.
• Ability to collaborate with multiple teams and meet deadlines.
• Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design (preferred).
• Experience working with manufacturing units is an added advantage.
