Our team operates between India and Germany. www.mareen.co Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Junior Fashion Designer, based in Ahmedabad, India. You will be responsible for designing creative and innovative fashion collections, developing design ideas, selecting suitable textiles, creating patterns, and ensuring proper fit and finish. The role involves collaborating closely with other team members, overseeing sample creation, and staying updated with the latest fashion trends and industry standards. Qualifications Proficiency in Fashion Design, including sketching, illustration, and concept development. Experience with creating analogue and digital patterns. Strong knowledge of Textiles and their properties, including fabric selection and composition. Expertise in Fitting and ensuring garments meet both aesthetic and functional standards. Passion for fashion and innovation, with the ability to translate trends into unique designs. Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design or a related field is preferred. Attention to detail, excellent time management, and effective communication skills. Experience with CAD software, Photography and other design tools is a plus. Send applications with Portfolio and CV.
