About Us Jain Shawls & Fabrics is a heritage textile and apparel manufacturer from Ludhiana with 40+ years of experience in global exports and high-volume apparel production for leading retailers. We are now expanding into the domestic fashion market and seeking a designer who understands the region’s tastes and trends. Role Overview We are hiring an experienced Fashion Designer to create trend-focused, commercially viable collections for the Ludhiana market. This role involves concept development, design execution, and close coordination with sampling, merchandising, and production to bring ideas to life. Key Responsibilities Develop seasonal collections tailored to the North India/Ludhiana market. Create sketches, tech packs, and detailed design sheets. Coordinate with sampling, pattern master, and production teams. Research trends, fabrics, silhouettes, and competitor offerings. Ensure fit accuracy, construction feasibility, and final garment quality. Work with merchandising on costing and development planning. Qualifications & Skills 4+ years of experience in fashion/apparel design (Ludhiana experience preferred). Strong skills in Fashion Design , silhouette development, and trend research. Proficiency in Embroidery, Textiles, and Fabric selection . Solid understanding of Garment Fitting and Construction . Creativity, attention to detail, and ability to design for commercial success. Ability to collaborate with multiple teams and meet deadlines. Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design (preferred). Experience working with manufacturing units is an added advantage. Why Join Us?
