Role Overview:

Senior Fashion Designer for GlobalDesi

Key Responsibilities:

• Seasonal Collection Development:

• Conceptualize and develop seasonal collections in line with the brand’s design philosophy, customer profile, and market trends.

• Trend Research & Forecasting:

• Conduct thorough research on global fashion trends, fabrics, silhouettes, trims, and colors to ensure the brand stays relevant and aspirational.

• Design Execution:

• Translate concepts into detailed sketches and tech packs; oversee sample development, ensuring alignment with design vision and commercial viability.

• Collaboration:

• Work closely with the sampling, sourcing, print, and production teams to ensure timely and accurate execution.

• Print & Surface Development:

• Collaborate with print designers to develop original prints and embroideries in line with seasonal themes.

• Presentation & Reviews:

• Prepare mood boards, collection stories, and presentations for internal reviews, trade shows, and marketing collaborations.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Degree/Diploma in Fashion Design from a reputed institute.

• 4+ years

  of experience in women’s fashion design, with at least 3 years in a senior/lead role.
• Strong background in Indian and Indo-western wear, especially with fusion silhouettes, prints, and ethnic influences.
• Proficient in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, CorelDRAW, and Microsoft Office.
• Hands-on experience with fabric sourcing, print development, and vendor coordination.
