Factory Production Head

We are looking for a production head with 8–10 Years experience in industries like : Food Processing / FMCG / Manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities

1. Production & Operations Management

• Oversee end-to-end plant operations to ensure smooth production flow
• Develop and implement production plans to meet daily, weekly, and monthly targets
• Monitor KPIs such as yield, efficiency, downtime, and quality metrics
• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and regulatory standards

2. Food Product Development

• Collaborate with R&D and QA teams to support new product trials and scale-up
• Optimize recipes and processes for cost-effectiveness and quality consistency
• Stay updated on market trends and consumer preferences to guide innovation

3. Manpower Planning & Team Leadership

• Plan and allocate manpower across shifts to maximize productivity
• Lead, train, and motivate production staff to maintain high performance
• Conduct regular performance reviews and skill development initiatives

4. Dispatch & Logistics Coordination

• Coordinate with supply chain and logistics teams for timely dispatch of finished goods
• Monitor inventory levels and ensure proper documentation for dispatch activities
• Resolve bottlenecks in outbound logistics and improve turnaround times

5. Operational Excellence & Continuous Improvement

• Implement lean manufacturing practices and drive cost reduction initiatives
• Conduct root cause analysis for production issues and implement corrective actions
• Maintain SOPs and ensure adherence to ISO, HACCP, and other quality systems

Desired Candidate Profile

• Bachelor's/Master’s degree in Food Technology, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
• Proven experience in managing food production operations at a mid-to-large scale plant
• Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Familiarity with ERP systems and production planning tools
• Excellent communication and team management abilities

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹80,000.00 - ₹100,000.00 per month
