Factory Manager (Seafood & Frozen Meat Industry)

We are one of the leading chicken processing industries in India, and we are looking for a Factory Manager who will be responsible for managing overall factory operations in frozen meat processing. The role includes ensuring smooth production flow, strict quality and food-safety compliance, effective manpower management, and maintaining an efficient cold-chain system throughout the facility.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily production, processing, packing, freezing, and dispatch operations.
• Ensure strict compliance with HACCP, FSSAI, ISO, GMP, and hygiene protocols.
• Plan and allocate manpower to meet daily production targets and maintain productivity.
• Monitor raw material receiving quality, temperature controls, and cold storage management (FIFO/FEFO).
• Coordinate with maintenance team for smooth functioning of blast freezers, chillers, compressors, and processing machines.
• Maintain workplace safety, discipline, PPE usage, and follow all statutory regulations.
• Handle documentation including production reports, yield analysis, wastage, temperature logs, and audit records.
• Coordinate with procurement, QA, logistics, and sales teams for seamless operations and timely dispatch.
• Support internal/external audits and ensure continuous improvement in factory performance.
• Implement cost control measures, reduce wastage, and improve efficiency.

Requirements

• Minimum 6–7 years of experience in the Seafood or Frozen Meat Processing Industry, specifically in a Factory Manager role.
• Candidates with technical education related to food safety, processing equipment, or cold storage management will be given priority.
• Additional certifications such as HACCP Level 2/3, FSSAI FoSTaC, ISO Training are an added advantage.
• Strong leadership, production planning, problem-solving, and team-handling skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight production deadlines.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹100,000.00 per month
