Electrical Maintenance Technician

We are looking for a highly skilled Electrical Maintenance Technician to join our engineering and maintenance team in a dynamic food processing environment. This role involves ensuring the efficient, reliable, and safe operation of all electrical systems and equipment used in food manufacturing, while maintaining compliance with food safety standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform fault diagnosis, repair, and maintenance of electrical systems including power distribution, motors, PLCs, HMIs, sensors, and control panels.
• Lead the response to unplanned equipment downtime, ensuring rapid resolution to minimize production impact.
• Develop, implement, and monitor preventive and predictive maintenance schedules for electrical equipment.
• Support the design, planning, and execution of electrical system upgrades, installations, and modifications to improve production efficiency and safety.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams on capital projects, ensuring timely completion and compliance with standards.
• Maintain and program PLCs (e.g., Allen-Bradley, Siemens), VFDs, SCADA, and automation systems used in food production lines.
• Maintain accurate records of electrical maintenance, calibration, inspections, and modifications.
• Ability to work in cold, hot, and wet environments typical of food processing plants.

Qualifications:

• Diploma / Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• 3–5+ years of electrical engineering experience in a manufacturing or food processing environment
• Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems, PLC programming, control systems, instrumentation, and automation.
