Facility Manager

1.Facility Operations & Maintenance

• Oversee daily operations of the facility to ensure safety, cleanliness, and smooth functioning.
• Monitor and manage repairs, preventive maintenance, and servicing of infrastructure, equipment, and utilities.
• Ensure proper functioning of electrical, plumbing, air conditioning, and other building systems.

2. Housekeeping & Waste Management

• Supervise housekeeping staff to maintain hygiene and sanitation standards.
• Ensure compliance with biomedical waste management rules and proper disposal procedures.
• Conduct regular inspections of premises for cleanliness and upkeep.

3. Safety, Security & Compliance

• Maintain fire safety equipment, emergency exits, and evacuation plans.
• Coordinate with security teams for safety of staff, patients, and visitors.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare facility regulations, safety norms, and statutory requirements.

4. Vendor & Inventory Management

• Manage contracts and service agreements with vendors (housekeeping, security, maintenance, etc.).
• Oversee procurement and inventory control for cleaning materials, maintenance supplies, and facility equipment.

5. Budgeting & Reporting

• Prepare and manage the facility maintenance budget.
• Maintain facility operation records and prepare reports for management review.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Graduate in any discipline (Facility Management certification preferred).
• 0-3 years’ experience in facility management, preferably in hospitals or diagnostic centers.
• Knowledge of biomedical waste management and healthcare safety regulations.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and facility management software (if applicable).
