Job Description

  • Managing the operation & maintenance of Lighting & distribution, Diesel Generators, Electrical distribution panels, UPS, Air Compressors, water treatment plant, Air Driers, HVAC systems, Compressed air Distribution system, Gas piping systems distribution, Pressure reduction stations, access control system, Smoke detection & Gas detection system, CCTV, Fire safety systems, building repairs etc.,
  • Interface with Gas Utility & Electricity Utility agencies
  • Vendor Agreements review, renewals from time to time & working closely with Purchase team for release of POs release
  • Managing capital expansion projects
  • Driving continuous improvement initiatives in the Facilities domain and maintaining a high level of internal customer satisfaction
  • Driving sustainability initiatives
  • Conducting competitive tendering, exercise, and identification of suitable specialist subcontractors for the site, carrying out comparative analysis and making recommendations on the most appropriate subcontractors.
  • Adherence to the approved budget with primary responsibility for the monthly facilities management report, including an overall summary of operations
  • Legal/Licenses: Ensure all Facility Premises Lease agreements are in place, periodic inspections by the Dept of Electrical Inspectorates, PCB Consents renewal as and when required.
  • Monitoring and inspection of buildings and premises for safety issues, promoting continuous improvement of workplace safety and good environmental practices.
  • Review of documentation, streamlining of processes from time to time
  • Ensure all communications are completed with regards to queries, escalations, request, and complaints and demonstrate the employee-oriented practices
  • Effective utilization and review of sub-contractors / vendor&aposs performance monthly or periodic intervals
  • Supporting Waste management
  • Allocate and manage facility space for maximum efficiency
  • Other duties as assigned

What You Must Have

  • 08 to 12 years of experience in Facilities domain, preferably from R&D and manufacturing set up & Electromechanical background.
  • BE/B.Tech In Electrical/Mechanical
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills
  • Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable, and courteous service to internal/external customers.
  • Knowledge of compliance and statutory regulations such as Health & Safety.
  • Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment with tight turnaround times with the ability to prioritize work when there are competing demands and urgent business needs.
  • Strong Microsoft applications skills (excel, word, ppt, etc)., Auto-cad
