Job Description

Job Purpose:

To manage and oversee all soft services within the facility, ensuring high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, safety, and customer satisfaction. The role involves supervising housekeeping, pest control, landscaping, waste management, front office, and other support services while maintaining compliance with company policies and statutory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Housekeeping & Maintenance:
  • Ensure daily housekeeping operations are carried out effectively across all areas.
  • Monitor cleaning schedules and quality of work through regular inspections.
  • Coordinate with vendors for consumables, equipment, and manpower management.
  • Pest Control, Waste Management & Landscaping:
  • Oversee pest control activities and ensure periodic treatments are completed.
  • Implement waste segregation, recycling, and disposal practices as per environmental norms.
  • Maintain landscaping and horticulture to ensure a pleasant and safe environment.
  • Front Office & Support Services:
  • Supervise front office, helpdesk, mailroom, and pantry services for seamless operations.
  • Ensure proper grooming, behavior, and service orientation of all service staff.
  • Handle client and employee requests efficiently and ensure prompt resolutions.
  • Vendor Management:
  • Coordinate with service providers and monitor their performance through SLAs and KPIs.
  • Review manpower deployment and verify attendance, billing, and compliance documents.
  • Conduct periodic vendor reviews and suggest process improvements.
  • Health, Safety & Compliance:
  • Ensure adherence to safety protocols and hygiene standards at all times.
  • Conduct regular safety and fire drills in coordination with the EHS team.
  • Maintain records and documentation as per audit and compliance requirements.
  • Budgeting & Reporting:
  • Assist in preparing annual budgets for soft services and track expenditures.
  • Generate daily/weekly/monthly MIS reports and share performance updates with management.
  • Identify opportunities for cost optimization and service improvement.

Key Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
  • Eye for detail with a focus on quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Good knowledge of housekeeping chemicals, equipment, and safety procedures.
  • Proficient in MS Office and facility management software.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Graduate in any discipline (Hotel Management or Facility Management preferred).
  • 5–10 years of experience in facilities management with a focus on soft services.
  • Experience managing large offices, corporate campuses, or commercial sites.
