Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a Fabrication Manager. The Fabrication Manager will oversee daily production operations, ensure high-quality output, and effectively manage teams to achieve operational goals. Tasks include supervising fabrication processes, monitoring quality control, coordinating welding procedures, and managing overall production schedules and resources to meet project timelines. The role also involves driving process improvements and ensuring compliance with safety and efficiency standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, supervise, and monitor fabrication shop activities.
• Interpret fabrication drawings and allocate work accordingly.
• Ensure production targets, timelines, and quality standards are met.
• Manage manpower, welding, fitting, and assembly operations.
• Coordinate with design, purchase, and quality departments for smooth workflow.
• Monitor material usage, reduce wastage, and optimize resources.
• Ensure compliance with safety norms and ISO standards.
• Train and guide supervisors and workers for continuous improvement.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Diploma / B.Tech in Mechanical or Fabrication Engineering.
• 5–10 years of experience in heavy fabrication / machinery manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of fabrication processes, welding, and machine tools.
• Excellent leadership, planning, and communication skills.
