Export Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end rice export process, from order confirmation to final shipment.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with international buyers, importers, and distributors.
• Prepare, verify, and manage all export-related documents (Invoice, Packing List, COO, Fumigation, Phytosanitary, BL, LC documentation, etc.).
• Coordinate with shipping lines, CHA, transporters, and warehouses for smooth logistics operations.
• Monitor export regulations, quality standards, and compliance requirements for different countries.
• Negotiate freight rates, shipping schedules, and delivery timelines.
• Track shipments, resolve delays, and ensure on-time delivery.
• Conduct market research to identify new export opportunities and pricing strategies.
• Collaborate with production, quality, and finance teams to execute orders efficiently.
• Handle customer queries, after-sales service, and maintain client satisfaction.

Requirements

• Minimum

  3–5 years of experience

  in

  rice exports

  (Basmati / Non-Basmati preferred).
• Strong knowledge of export documentation and international trade compliance.
• Familiarity with global rice markets and major importing countries.
• Experience in managing LC, CAD, and other payment modes.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders and handle time-sensitive operations.
• Proficiency in MS Office; knowledge of export software/ERP is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, International Trade, Agriculture, or related field.

Preferred Skills

• Existing network of rice buyers/importers.
• Experience with government portals (DGFT, ICEGATE).
• Strong problem-solving and execution skills.
