Job Description

Responsible for managing and coordinating all import and export-related documentation to ensure compliance with international trade regulations. Their primary role is to facilitate smooth import export operations by handling paperwork, liaising with stakeholders, and ensuring timely shipment processing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparing Export Documents:
  • Create and verify export documentation such as invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, certificates of origin, and customs declarations.
  • Ensure all documents meet regulatory requirements and buyer specifications.
  • Customs and Compliance:
  • Ensure compliance with international trade laws, export regulations, and customs procedures.
  • Work closely with government agencies, chambers of commerce, and freight forwarders to obtain necessary clearances.
  • Shipment Coordination:
  • Liaise with shipping companies, freight forwarders, and carriers to arrange timely and cost-effective transportation.
  • Track shipments and update clients on delivery schedules.
  • Customer and Supplier Communication:
  • Coordinate with buyers, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure smooth documentation flow.
  • Address and resolve any documentation-related discrepancies or issues.
  • Banking and Payment Documentation:
  • Handle Letter of Credit (LC) documentation, Bank Realization Certificates (BRCs), and export payments.
  • Ensure timely submission of export documents to banks for payment processing.
  • Record-Keeping and Reporting:
  • Maintain accurate records of all export transactions and document submissions.
  • Generate reports related to export activities and compliance status.

Qualifications & Skills Required:

  • Educational Background:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, International Trade, Logistics, or a related field.
  • Experience:
  • 2+ years of experience in export documentation or international trade.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Knowledge of export regulations, Incoterms, and trade finance instruments.
  • Proficiency in documentation software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Soft Skills:
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to multitask and work under tight deadlines.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher

Pay: ₹12,459.62 - ₹35,306.84 per month
