Export Import Documentation Executive

Job Overview: The Export Associate is responsible for coordinating the shipment of goods to international destinations. This role involves ensuring compliance with export regulations, managing documentation, and liaising with clients, freight forwarders, and carriers.

Responsibilities:

· Prepare and process export documentation according to customs regulations, laws, or procedures.

· Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure proper packaging, labelling, and loading of cargo for export.

· Communicate with clients to confirm shipment details and provide updates on shipment status.

· Make quotations and submit to customers and follow-up for orders.

· Follow-up with customers for orders and other related matters.

· Ensure that all shipments comply with international laws and regulations.

· Track shipments and resolve any issues that may arise during transit.

· Maintain accurate records of all export transactions and documentation.

· Follow up with Customers for outstanding payments.

· Lodge export bills with bank and follow-up till closure of export bills.

· Communicate and Follow-up with Bank, DGFT, Customs brokers and other stake holders

Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree in commerce, Logistics, or related field preferred.

· Minimum 2-3 year experience in the shipping or logistics industry.

· Familiarity with export documentation, shipping and logistic procedures.

· Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

· Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

· Proficient in Microsoft Office, email, documentation / ERP software.

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Certifications (if applicable):

· Certificate / Diploma in export import management or international trade is a plus.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
