Job Description

Department: Export / International Sales
Reports To: Director – International Business
Experience: 2–5 years in export operations (preferably in tile or building materials industry)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Export Executive to manage and streamline our international sales and export operations. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in export documentation, logistics coordination, and customer communication—ideally within the ceramics, tiles, or building materials industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle end-to-end export documentation including invoice, packing list, Bill of Lading, Certificate of Origin, and other required shipping documents.
  • Coordinate with logistics companies, freight forwarders, and CHA agents to ensure timely shipment and delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with export regulations and documentation standards of different countries.
  • Manage communication with international clients, addressing inquiries, shipment status, and post-sales support.
  • Maintain and update export records, LC documentation, and MIS reports.
  • Collaborate with the production and warehouse teams to ensure product readiness as per export schedules.
  • Assist in preparing proforma invoices, quotations, and contracts for international clients.
  • Monitor payment collections, credit terms, and documentation under LC (Letter of Credit).
  • Attend trade exhibitions (domestic/international) and assist in generating new leads or distributors.
  • Provide support in developing new international markets for tiles and ceramic products.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in International Business, Commerce, or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • 2–5 years of experience in an export role within the tile/ceramic/building materials industry.
  • Strong communication skills (spoken and written English essential).
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); familiarity with ERP systems is a plus.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

Preferred Attributes:

  • Prior experience with Middle East, African, European, or American markets.
  • Understanding of customs processes, and country-specific documentation.
  • Knowledge of different portal for the export sales.
