Role & responsibilities

• Scheduling appointments using computerised scheduling systems.
• Resolve patient issues and consistently meet or exceed patients' service expectations.
• Promptly answering emails, online chat messages, and calls in accordance with company KPIs.
• Responsible for collecting and maintaining clear and accurate patient account information by obtaining, recording, and updating personal/financial/insurance information.
• Responsible for the new patient registration process, gathering demographic and medical information, verifying and explaining insurance benefits, while completing necessary procedures to schedule appointments.
• Provide a high level of empathy, compassion, and professionalism in all interactions with patients, family members, and referral sources.
• Participate in ongoing trainings for professional development while staying updated on industry changes and best practices.
• Must be proficient in MS Office and Office 365.
• Provide Support, patience, and compassionate customer service to the lives we serve.
• Ability to multitask and problem-solve.
• Ability to react well under pressure and treat others with respect.
• Adhere to Company policies regarding confidentiality and compliance.

Preferred candidate profile

• Must have experience in Patient Appointment scheduling or patient calling for US healthcare Revenue cycle Management.
• A minimum of 1-5 years of experience in the healthcare field,
• A minimum of 1-5 years of experience with EMR systems.
• Strong computer skills, including navigating multiple open tabs, systems, and processes.
• Insurance verification experience.
• Remote experience working from home.
• Intermediate to advanced MS Office skills, mainly in Excel.
• HSC or above
