Medical Billing Accounts Receivable Representative

Key Responsibilities:

Claims Management: Process, review, and follow up on medical claims to ensure timely payments.
Denial Management: Identify and resolve denied claims by coordinating with insurance companies and healthcare providers.
Billing Compliance: Ensure adherence to payer-specific guidelines, including correct coding and modifier usage.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Minimum 6 months of experience in medical billing and accounts receivable.
Strong knowledge of CPT codes, payer-specific guidelines, and medical billing regulations.
Proficiency in billing software and electronic claim submission.
Excellent communication skills.
Ability to analyze and resolve billing discrepancies efficiently.
Familiarity with HIPAA compliance and healthcare reimbursement policies.
Experience working with Waystar, Streamline, or similar billing platforms
(Optional)
Prior exposure to CMS policies & NCCI Edits and medical coding practices.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
