Job Description

Primary Responsibility

Good understanding of GAAP accounting principles and procedures
Calculation/Accumulation of Accruals
External (European) client communication (Email/Phone) in German & English Language.
Prepare/extract reports and investigate accounting issues
Journal Coding and Entry in an ERP environment
Account/ P&L/BS Reconciliations
Basic understanding of what is Insurance and how it works

Role Responsibilities

Review all necessary reports from relevant systems and perform updates
Participate in all applicable training and special unit projects when appropriate. Ensure that the assigned targets in accordance with the SLA metrics are met
Ensure that the quality of the transactions is in compliance with predefined parameters laid down by the SLA metrics
Ensure adherence to Company Policies and Procedures
Any other essential function that may occur from time to time as directed by the Supervisor to help to identify inefficiencies to the process and assist to drive process improvements activities
Analyze and research all discrepancies/ open items and resolve any queries relating to payments (incoming or outgoing)
Ensure adherence to established attendance schedules
