Job Description

Verify and validate transporter bills/invoices against supporting documents such as trip sheets, LR copies, delivery challans, gate passes, and PO/work orders.
Check freight rates, distance, tonnage, and contract terms to ensure billing accuracy.
Cross-check billing period, vehicle numbers, and service details with transport logs and dispatch records.
Coordinate with the logistics and operations teams to resolve discrepancies in invoices.
Ensure timely submission and processing of transporter bills for payment.
Maintain proper documentation and record keeping of all verified bills.
Track and report on pending, approved, and disputed bills.
Support internal and external audit requirements related to transporter expenses.
Assist in monthly expense reconciliation and provide input for management reports.
