Executive Procurement

You will be responsible for sourcing, evaluating, and negotiating contracts with qualified suppliers for electronic, electrical, and mechanical components. Your role will involve managing the procurement process from requisition to receipt, ensuring strict adherence to company policies and procedures. It will be essential to collaborate closely with engineering teams to understand component specifications and identify opportunities for cost-saving initiatives. Developing and maintaining a comprehensive understanding of market trends, pricing, and lead times for various components will be a key aspect of your job. You will also be required to implement and oversee inventory control systems to optimize stock levels and minimize obsolescence. Your responsibilities will include monitoring supplier performance in terms of quality control, delivery timelines, and cost management. Building and nurturing strong relationships with key suppliers to encourage collaboration and secure long-term partnerships will be crucial. Additionally, staying up-to-date on industry best practices and emerging technologies in the electronics components market will be essential for success in this role.
