Executive Procurement

As a Procurement Specialist, your role involves handling the procurement of steel raw materials such as angles, beams, plates, channels, pipes, fittings, flanges, manual valves, etc. Your key responsibilities include: - Identifying, evaluating, and negotiating with suppliers to ensure cost-effective and timely procurement. - Maintaining a vendor database and building long-term supplier relationships. - Preparing and processing purchase orders, enquiries, and quotations through SAP ERP system. - Tracking, monitoring, and following up on order status, delivery schedules, and material receipts. - Coordinating with production, stores, and quality teams for material planning and requirement fulfillment. - Ensuring compliance with company policies, quality standards, and delivery deadlines. - Managing price comparisons, cost analysis, and budget control for procurement activities. - Preparing reports and maintaining records using Excel, Word, and SAP ERP. In addition to the key responsibilities, you are expected to have the following qualifications and skills: - Strong knowledge of steel raw materials and mechanical items such as pipes, fittings, flanges, and valves. - Hands-on experience in SAP ERP for procurement functions. - Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and other office tools. - Good negotiation, communication, and vendor management skills. - Analytical mindset with attention to cost optimization and timely supply. - Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.,
