Role Overview:

The Senior Executive Corporate Legal (Contracts Team) will be responsible for managing contractual matters, including drafting, vetting, negotiation, and compliance oversight. The ideal candidate will possess strong legal acumen, precision, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to support timely, risk-mitigated business decisions.

Core Responsibilities:

• Draft, review, and negotiate diverse commercial and financial contracts, including NDAs, vendor, merchant, partnership, MoU, SLA, and loan-related agreements within stipulated timelines.
• Manage the complete contract lifecycle execution, renewal, amendment, and termination ensuring compliance with internal policies and defined TATs.
• Collaborate with business, finance, product, compliance, and operations teams to provide practical, business-aligned legal advice.
• Ensure all contracts comply with RBI guidelines, regulatory norms, and data protection laws.
• Maintain the contract repository, track key milestones, and monitor renewals and obligations.
• Update standard templates, playbooks, and process documents to enhance efficiency.
• Coordinate with external counsel for complex or high-value transactions.
• Support internal audits, compliance checks, and due diligence related to contracts.
• Stay updated on legal and regulatory changes impacting NBFCs, fintech, and digital lending operations.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Law (LL.B.) from a recognized university; LL.M. preferred but not mandatory.
• 2–4years of post-qualification experience in contract management or corporate legal functions, preferably within NBFCs, fintech, or financial services sectors.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
• Proficiency in MS Office, Excel, and familiarity with contract-management tools or repositories.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a solution-oriented approach.
• Collaborative, dependable, and adaptable to a dynamic fintech environment.
