Job Description

We are seeking a talented and highly motivated Executive Chef to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, plan, and execute innovative menus while ensuring quality, consistency, and creativity in all dishes.
  • Oversee daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation.
  • Lead, train, and mentor kitchen staff to ensure high performance and adherence to culinary standards.
  • Monitor inventory levels; order and manage food and supply stock efficiently.
  • Ensure all dishes are prepared in a timely manner while maintaining exceptional taste and presentation standards.
  • Maintain strict hygiene, sanitation, and safety standards throughout the kitchen according to health regulations.
  • Control food costs, minimize waste, and manage portioning to optimize profitability.
  • Collaborate with management on menu updates, special events, and seasonal offerings.
  • Conduct regular kitchen inspections to ensure equipment is clean, functional, and properly maintained.
  • Handle administrative responsibilities such as scheduling, performance evaluations, and training documentation.
  • Assist with opening and closing procedures, ensuring the kitchen is organized, clean, and ready for service.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as an Executive Chef or in a senior culinary leadership role.
  • Extensive knowledge of culinary techniques, menu design, and kitchen operations.
  • Strong leadership and team-management skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a high-pressure environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively.
  • Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • A positive attitude and genuine passion for creating exceptional cuisine.
  • Culinary degree or certification preferred; additional training in food safety or management is a plus.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From ₹7,20,000.00 per year
