Role & responsibilities

  • Sales Leadership

    : Drive sales and business growth for Low, Medium and High Horse Power (LHP/MHP/HHP) Diesel Gensets within the assigned region.
  • New Business Development

    : Identify and approach prospective clients to generate new business opportunities and establish strong customer relationships.
  • Client Relationship Management

    : Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing customers to ensure continued satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Sales & Marketing Strategy

    : Plan and execute sales strategies and marketing activities to achieve regional sales targets.
  • Stakeholder Engagement

    : Build and nurture relationships with key decision-makers across target industries for business development.
  • Requirement Analysis

    : Collaborate with technical teams to understand customer needs and translate them into suitable solutions.
  • Proposal Management

    : Prepare and present technical and commercial proposals tailored to customer requirements.
  • Sales Negotiation & Closure

    : Lead negotiations and close deals by finalizing terms and conditions with clients.
  • Product Updates

    : Keep customers informed about new product developments, enhancements, and technological updates.
  • Payment Collection

    : Follow up on payments and ensure timely collections as per agreed terms.
  • Installation & Support Coordination

    : Coordinate with service teams for smooth installation and post-sales support.
  • Commercial Coordination

    : Liaise with clients and internal accounts teams for all commercial and transactional activities

Preferred candidate profile

  • 3 - 5 years of experience in sales of Diesel Generator (DG) Sets, electrical equipment, mechanical equipment, or other capital equipment.
  • Hands-on experience in selling medium and high horsepower (MHP/HHP) DG sets will be a strong advantage.
  • Preferred candidates will have established connections with key stakeholders such as dealers, consultants, architects, HVAC consultants, real estate companies, industrial clients, and freelancers.
  • Ability to understand technical requirements and create commercially viable proposals.
  • Proven track record of negotiation, sales closure, and account management.
