Puget Sound Educational School District seeks a highly qualified Executive Assistant – Superintendent and Board. Executive Assistant will be assisting the Superintendent in the daily operation of the ESD as well as the planning, implementing, directing and maintaining of ESD programs by providing a wide variety of complex and confidential administrative and secretarial support; analyzing requests and providing recommendations for action; and communicating information on behalf of the district and the governing board to its staff, other organizations, public agencies and governing bodies.PSESD is one of nine regional educational agencies serving school districts and state approved charter and private schools in Washington. Minimum Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in a job-related field with executive-level administrative experience, or High School Diploma/GED with progressively responsible related experience
- Demonstrated ability to apply an equity lens in decision-making and daily work practices
- Professional experience managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment, including meeting and event coordination, budget tracking, and staff oversight
- Strong writing, editing, proofreading, and communication skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), SharePoint, virtual collaboration platforms (e.g., Teams, Zoom), and website/content management tools
- Experience inputting, managing, and analyzing data in spreadsheets and/or databases
- Familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM) or database systems, website/content management, and contract administration
- Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with internal staff, external partners, and community partners
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience using BoardDocs or similar board governance platforms (e.g., OnBoard, Convene, BoardPro, BoardEffect) to manage agendas, board books, documents, and meeting workflows
- Professional experience supporting elected officials, governing boards, or similar leadership bodies, including preparing agendas, minutes, and confidential materials
- Demonstrated ability to navigate sensitive issues with diplomacy and discretion while maintaining professional relationships with board members, elected officials, and community partners
- Experience planning and supporting executive-level or high-stakes events, including hybrid (in-person/virtual) formats, with strong skills in proofreading, editing, and multi-project management
