Executive Assistant (Finance) To CMD (DGM Level)

Role & responsibilities

• Assist Management by analysing business data and providing insights to Management for strategic decisions.
• Assist business leaders for driving the business goals with insights on key business metrics

Strategic: -

• Analyse key business metrics and drive the business goals in line with the instructions / guidelines of Management
• Develop turnaround strategies for Business / Division / Function across business segments
• Work with external consultants to derive / implement / execute business strategies

Financial : -

• Support Management in preparation of presentations, reports, proposals, budgets, and related activities
• Support Management in preparation of all documentation required for key decision making as required
• To analyse the problems, opportunities and solutions for business budgeting and forecasting
• To analyse and outline the problems to build Financial Modelling in alignment with business goals

Customer Focus & Value Add

• Ensure timely communication of guidelines /instructions from the management
• Review of cost structures, control points and sales targets of all verticals
• Business performance review of parent and group companies
• Document and circulate minutes of meetings
• Preparation of financial statements and reports
• Drive and monitor transformation projects keeping in mind timelines and report to top management
• Analyse business data, provide data insights to management for strategic decisions.
• Facilitate Management approvals for CAPEX and Growth Projects
• Provide real time data for Expansions / New Businesses and come up with alternative suggestions / inputs
• Involve in Project Management, Budgeting & Planning
• Assist Top Management in preparation of presentations in external forums to enhance image of the organization

Innovation & continuous improvement

• To perform benchmarking analysis on business segments and reporting to management
• Co-ordinate and drive performance of Cross Functional Team to ensure achievement of project deliverables

Preferred candidate profile

• CA (Chartered Accountant) with minimum 12 to 15 years post-qualification experience in manufacturing domain

• Should have worked in EA (finance) or EA advisory role at AGM/DGM level assisting the CMD/MD.

• Should have worked in manufacturing/engineering domain organizations having multiple verticals/business

• Should have experience in organizations of more than 3000 Cr

• Should have proven element of stability and long years of service in reputed organizations.
• Should have experience in preparation of presentations, proposals, budgets, reports.
• Should have experience in business budgeting and forecasting
• Should have experience in project management, planning and budgeting.
• Should have excellent communication and presentation skills
• Should have experience in performing benchmarking analysis of business segments and management reporting
• Should have good experience in providing top management MIS
• Should have fluent communication in English. Proficiency in Tamil Preferred.
• Should be willing to wor out of Coimbatore location.
