Job Description – Assembly Line Supervisor/ManagerPurpose of the Job:To lead and manage end-to-end assembly line operations, ensuring optimal productivity, quality, and efficiency through continuous improvement initiatives, effective team development, and streamlined order management via SAP EP1. This role is critical in driving operational excellence, meeting key performance indicators (KPIs), and promoting a culture of innovation, safety, and accountability on the shop floor. Preferred Candidate Profile:Qualification: Diploma in Mechanical, Production, or Automobile Engineering Experience: Minimum 5+ years in a manufacturing environment Industry Preference: Candidates from automotive manufacturing will be highly preferred Key Responsibilities:Oversee and ensure daily assembly line output in alignment with production targets. Drive performance by tracking and improving key assembly line KPIs. Lead the training and development of shop floor executives and technicians. Manage and optimize order processing and tracking through SAP EP1. Focus on Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) improvement initiatives. Implement and monitor Shop Floor Management (SFM) activities. Enforce safety protocols and 5S standards across the assembly line. Identify and execute continuous improvement projects. Lead and support key operational and strategic initiatives. Skills & Competencies:Strong leadership and team management skills Proficient in SAP EP1 or similar ERP systems Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and Kaizen principles Data-driven approach to monitoring and enhancing productivity Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities Strong communication and interpersonal skills
