Events Manager - Production

Job Description

Manage the production of corporate events, including conferences, meetings, and social gatherings. Develop comprehensive event plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocations. Coordinate with vendors, venues, and suppliers to secure contracts and services. Negotiate contracts to ensure cost-effectiveness and quality service delivery. Oversee the setup, execution, and teardown phases of events. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies during events. Work with creative teams to design event concepts and branding. Monitor event budgets and track expenses to prevent overspending. Assist in the selection of speakers, entertainers, and facilitators. Manage event registration and customer service for attendees. Conduct post-event evaluations to assess success and areas for improvement. Foster relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners for event success. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices related to event production. Train and supervise event staff and volunteers. Collaborate with marketing teams to promote events and increase attendance. Required Qualifications Bachelors degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in event production or management. Proven experience managing budgets and financial forecasts. Strong portfolio of successfully executed events. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to lead and motivate a team effectively. Experience with project management software and event technology. Understanding of AV production and technical requirements for events. Strong negotiation and contract management skills. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Willingness to travel as needed for events. Familiarity with marketing strategies related to events. Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and related software applications. Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities. Knowledge of current event trends and best practices.
