Job Description

Role Overview

The Events Lead MICE will be responsible for planning, managing, and delivering end-to-end MICE programs including meetings, incentives, conferences, and exhibitions. This role requires strong leadership, client management, operational excellence, and the ability to deliver high-impact experiences within defined timelines and budgets.

Key Responsibilities

Event Planning & Execution

  • Lead end-to-end planning and execution of MICE events including domestic and international conferences, incentive trips, exhibitions, and corporate meetings
  • Develop event concepts, timelines, budgets, and execution plans aligned with client objectives
  • Ensure seamless on-ground execution including venue management, logistics, production, hospitality, and vendor coordination

Client & Stakeholder Management

  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring clear communication and expectation management
  • Understand client briefs and translate them into actionable event strategies
  • Present proposals, budgets, and post-event reports to clients and internal stakeholders

Team Leadership

  • Lead and mentor a team of event managers, executives, and on-ground staff
  • Allocate responsibilities, monitor performance, and ensure delivery excellence
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams including creative, finance, travel, and operations

Vendor & Partner Management

  • Identify, negotiate, and manage vendors including hotels, venues, production partners, travel agencies, and local suppliers
  • Ensure cost efficiency while maintaining quality standards
  • Build long-term relationships with strategic partners

Budgeting & Compliance

  • Prepare and manage event budgets, cost estimates, and reconciliations
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, compliance standards, and risk management protocols
  • Handle contracts, POs, and vendor payments in coordination with finance teams

Quality & Experience Management

  • Ensure high standards of guest experience, hospitality, and service delivery
  • Proactively manage risks, contingencies, and last-minute challenges
  • Conduct post-event evaluations and implement learnings for continuous improvement

  • Strong understanding of the MICE ecosystem and corporate event lifecycle
  • Excellent project management and multitasking abilities
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Strong leadership and decision-making capabilities
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage large-scale events
