About "India Designer Show"

The "India Designer Show" is a premier annual event that celebrates the best of Indian design. It's a key platform where acclaimed designers, emerging talent, and industry leaders come together to showcase innovation and creativity. Our event includes a spectacular designer show and a prestigious awards ceremony, and we need a sales professional who can effectively communicate the value of this unique opportunity to potential clients.


The Opportunity: Driving Event Success

As our Event Sales Specialist, you will be the driving force behind our revenue goals. Your primary responsibility will be to be able to participate with designers, exhibitors, sponsors, and attendees for both the designer show and the awards ceremony. You will be instrumental in building relationships and closing deals that contribute to the overall success of the event.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Strategy & Execution:

    Develop and implement a robust sales strategy to attract and secure exhibitors, sponsors, and attendees for the "India Designer Show."
  • Lead Generation:

    Identify and pursue new business opportunities through a variety of channels, including cold calling, networking, and industry research.
  • Client Relationship Management:

    Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring their needs are met and their experience is exceptional.
  • Negotiation & Closing:

    Present compelling sales pitches, negotiate contracts, and close deals to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Market Knowledge:

    Stay up-to-date with market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to inform your sales approach.
  • Reporting:

    Track and report on sales performance, pipelines, and market feedback to the management team.


What We're Looking For:

  • 3+ years of experience in event sales, with a specific focus on events and awards.

    Experience in the fashion, design, or luxury sectors is a significant advantage.
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a dynamic, fast-paced team.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • A deep understanding of the sales cycle and a passion for the events industry.
