Event Sales Manager (Target-Driven Role)

Location: Jalandhar, Punjab
Experience Required: 2–3 Years Preferred (Event Sales Experience Mandatory)
Employment Type: Full-Time | On-site
Industry: Event Management, Experiential Marketing, Brand Activations, Corporate & Social Events

Role Overview

This position is a pure sales role within the events industry. The Event Sales Manager will not be responsible for on-ground execution or event coordination. The sole focus of this role is business development, client acquisition, deal closure, and revenue growth.

Success in this role is measured only by sales performance and targets achieved.

Key Responsibilities (Sales Only)Client Acquisition & Lead Conversion

  • Generate and convert leads into confirmed, paid event projects.
  • Actively engage in cold calling, follow-ups, meetings, and field networking.
  • Pitch event concepts, pricing, and value propositions to clients.
  • Handle negotiations and close deals independently.

Sales Target Ownership

  • Achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
  • Maintain a strong pipeline of active leads and closures.
  • Track conversions, revenue numbers, and follow-up cycles.
  • Upsell additional services to increase billing per client.

Client Relationship & Revenue Retention

  • Build long-term client relationships to drive repeat business.
  • Secure referrals and repeat contracts from existing clients.
  • Act as the primary commercial point of contact until deal closure.

Strict Performance Expectations

  • This role is 100% target-driven.
  • Performance will be evaluated on:
  • Revenue generated
  • Number of deals closed
  • Client retention and repeat sales
  • Candidates uncomfortable with targets, pressure, or sales accountability should not apply.

Eligibility Criteria

  • 2–3 years of experience preferred in event sales or B2B sales within the events industry.
  • Proven ability to sell, pitch, negotiate, and close deals.
  • Strong understanding of event pricing, packages, and commercial structuring.
  • Excellent communication, persuasion, and negotiation skills.
  • Self-driven, aggressive, and results-oriented mindset.
  • Local market knowledge of Punjab / North India is a strong advantage.
