We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Event Operations & Production Manager to join our team and take charge of corporate events and activations across India. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4-9 years of hands-on experience in event production, events, exhibitions and activations. As an Event Production Manager, you will be responsible for managing and executing a wide range of events, including product launches, press conferences, activations, sports events, MICE and promotional events. The candidate should have the knowledge of the competitive market pricing in production, conducting venue recee, managing vendors & understanding the designs renders.
1. Event Operations and Production: Oversee and manage the operational and production aspects of various events and activations, ensuring seamless execution from concept to completion.
2. Reporting and Communication: Prepare detailed reports for management, conduct venue reconnaissance, and establish communication with different malls, agencies, venues, and individuals to ensure successful event planning.
3. Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategies to effectively manage and execute end-to-end events and activations, aligning them with overall business goals and objectives.
4. Booking Management: Schedule event bookings, securing the necessary resources and facilities to ensure the smooth running of events.
5. Vendor Coordination: Collaborate with event vendors across India to source required materials, services, and equipment, maintaining strong relationships and negotiating favorable terms.
6. Production Management: Oversee event production activities, including fabrication, setup, and teardown, while ensuring high-quality execution and adherence to timelines.
7. Business Strategy: Contribute to the development of business strategies related to event operations and marketing, aiming to enhance brand presence and achieve desired outcomes.
8. Cross-Team Collaboration: Coordinate with various internal teams and departments to ensure all aspects of events, such as marketing, design, and logistics, are well-coordinated and aligned.
9. Manpower Management: Lead and manage the event production team, including recruitment, training, and supervision of staff members to guarantee efficient teamwork and optimal performance.
10. Travel and Event Participation: Travel to various event locations to oversee on-ground execution, manage unexpected challenges, and ensure that events run smoothly.
- Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Marketing, Business, or a related field preferred.
- Proven experience of 4-9 years in event production, management, or activations.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills for effective vendor and client interaction.
- Creative problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and event management software.
- Willingness to travel frequently and work flexible hours as per event demands.
- Knowledge of the event landscape and relevant industry contacts is a must.
