📌 Job description-

Primary Skills: •ETL Tools: Hands-on and Proficiency in one or more ETL tools like MS SQL Migration Assistant (SSMA), Golden Gate is essential for building and managing data pipelines.

• Data Analysis: Ability to analyse data, identify trends, and troubleshoot data-related issues is important for ensuring data quality and performance.

• Data Integration and Transformation: Knowledge of various data integration and transformation techniques, such as normalization, data cleansing, data validation, standardization, and data mapping, is necessary for ensuring data quality and consistency.

• Database Engineering: A solid understanding of relational database management systems (RDBMS) like MS SQL, MySQL, DB2 and Oracle is essential for working with data at its source and destination.

• Data Governance: Understanding data governance principles and practices is important for ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and security.

• Problem-solving and Analytical Skills: ETL developers need strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve issues within data pipelines and ensure the smooth functioning of the system.

• SQL: A strong foundation in SQL is crucial for querying, manipulating, and transforming data within relational databases. This includes understanding complex joins, subqueries, and data aggregation functions.

Secondary Skills:

• Data Modelling: The ability to design and normalize database tables effectively is important for structuring data in a way that supports efficient querying and reporting.

• Scripting Languages: Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, Java, or Scala is often required for automating tasks, developing custom data transformation functions, and integrating with APIs.
