Estimation Engineer / Sr. Estimation Engineer

We are seeking a detail-oriented Estimation Engineer / Senior Estimation Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for estimating project costs based on tender drawings, conducting quantity surveys for glazing requirements, and ensuring accurate data procurement for estimation. This role requires strong analytical skills, technical knowledge, and proficiency in estimation tools and methodologies.

Key Responsibilities:

Estimation & Cost Analysis

• Analyse and estimate project costs based on incoming tender drawings.
• Conduct quantity surveys for glazing requirements to ensure procurement of all necessary data.
• Enter glazing specifications into proprietary software after preliminary structural calculations to ensure structural stability.
• Generate material lists, unit overviews, and complete pricing using software outputs and Microsoft Excel.
• Prepare formal quotations, including standard and special pricing considerations.

Collaboration & Documentation

• Generate and provide necessary support documents for the Sales team during both pre-tender and post-tender stages.
• Work closely with functional teams such as sales, logistics, and service engineering to ensure alignment on estimation data.
• Submit periodic activity reports detailing estimation progress and key findings.

Qualifications & Skills

Education & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering (Certificate mandatory).
• 2-3 years of experience in the uPVC/Aluminium fenestration industry with a strong focus on technical knowledge in design or estimation.
• Candidates must be locally based or willing to relocate to Bangalore.

Technical Knowledge & Skills

• Strong mathematical aptitude, including geometry and logical reasoning.
• Proficiency in MS Office tools (Excel, Word) is essential.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD is an added advantage.
• Fluency in English (spoken and written) with excellent communication skills.
