Estimation Engineer

Analyze plans, perform take-offs, and calculate costs for heating, ventilation, and air conditioning projects to help secure bids and manage project budgets.

Key Reasonability

• Cost Estimation: Accurately prepare detailed cost estimates for HVAC projects, including equipment, materials, and labor.
• Quantity Take-offs: Perform detailed quantity take-offs from mechanical drawings and design documents to determine the scope of work.
• Vendor & Client Communication: Float inquiries to vendors for equipment pricing and material rates, and follow up with clients to ensure successful tender finalization.
• BOQ Preparation: Prepare the Bill of Quantities (BOQ) and costings in line with project requirements and technical specifications.
• Technical Analysis: Analyze project specifications, drawings, and technical documents to gather necessary information for estimations.
• Cost Control: Advise on potential cost-saving measures and identify project risks to ensure estimates align with budgets.
• Software Proficiency: Utilize HVAC design and estimation software such as HAP (Hourly Analysis Program) and E20 for design calculations.
• Database Management: Develop and maintain a database of suppliers to achieve competitive pricing.
• Negotiation: Negotiate with vendors and subcontractors to secure the best possible prices for materials and services.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Technical Knowledge: Deep knowledge of HVAC systems (chilled water, VRF, ventilation) and cleanroom technology.
• Software Proficiency: Proficiency in AutoCAD, HAP, E20, and other estimation software.
• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills to accurately analyze data and prepare estimates.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with clients, vendors, and internal project teams.
• Organizational Skills: Highly organized with strong attention to detail to manage multiple projects and ensure accuracy.
• Teamwork: Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month

Education:

• Bachelor's (Preferred)

Experience:

• Estimation Calculation: 4 years (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• AutoCAD Certification (Preferred)

Location:
