Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Environmental Manager located in the Kutch district. The Environmental Manager will be responsible for overseeing and ensuring compliance with environmental policies and regulations. Key responsibilities include developing strategies for meeting environmental standards, handling environmental impact assessments, addressing environmental issues, and implementing initiatives to promote health and safety within the organization. Collaboration with internal teams to monitor, report, and improve the company’s environmental performance will also be a key aspect of this role.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Environment Health and Safety (EHS) and expertise in assessing and mitigating environmental impacts
• Experience in environmental compliance and formulating environmental policies to meet regulatory requirements
• Understanding of environmental issues and conducting environmental impact assessments
• Analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to address complex environmental challenges effectively
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with regulatory bodies, stakeholders, and internal teams
• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or a related field is required; advanced degrees or certifications in environmental management are a plus
• Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in the building materials or manufacturing industry
