Job Description

Role Summary:

Key Responsibilities

Operate and monitor ETP, MEE, ATFD, and ZLD systems for compliance with CPCB/SPCB norms.
Optimize processes to reduce energy, chemical use, and operational costs.
Manage effluent segregation, sludge handling, and hazardous waste disposal.
Ensure accurate sampling, analysis, and reporting of effluent parameters.
Plan upgrades, implement new technologies, and drive water recycling initiatives.
Lead a team of operators, ensure training, and enforce safety practices.
Coordinate with vendors for maintenance and process improvements.

Qualifications & Skills

Education:
MSc, Environment, B.Tech in Environmental or Chemical Engineering or related discipline.
Experience:
5 to 12 years in ETP/ZLD operations in pharma/chemical sectors.
Technical Expertise:
Biological and tertiary treatment, RO/UF systems, MEE, ATFD, ZLD.
Troubleshooting high TDS/COD effluents.
Regulatory Knowledge:
CPCB/SPCB norms, Hazardous Waste Rules, Environmental Acts.
Soft Skills:
Problem-solving, leadership, and strong communication.
