Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

• Conduct Phase i & Phase II Environmental Site Assessments (ESA) to identify potential contamination and environmental liabilities for property acquisitions.
• Perform soil, groundwater, and air quality assessments, including sampling, data interpretation, and risk evaluation.
• Support Real Estate developers in site selection analysis, evaluating environmental constraints, flood risk, wetlands, ecological sensitivity, and zoning restrictions.
• Prepare and manage - environmental impact assessments (EIA/EIS), including mitigation strategies and stakeholder consultation.
• Coordinate with environmental consultants, geotechnical teams, architects, and civil engineers to integrate environmental requirements into development plans.
• Obtain and manage permits for land development, stormwater, wastewater, wetlands, air emissions, and construction activities.
• Develop remediation plans for contaminated sites, oversee cleanup activities, and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Conduct environmental risk assessments and provide recommendations to support acquisition, planning, and investment decisions.
• Support sustainability initiatives such as energy-efficient design, waste management plans, LEED/BREEAM certification, and green infrastructure.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal environmental regulations throughout planning, construction, and operation phases.
• Prepare detailed technical reports, environmental management plans, and documentation for regulatory authorities and investors.
• Monitor construction activities to ensure adherence to environmental management and safety guidelines.
