Environment, Health and Safety Manager

Manager - HSE ensures a safe working environment by developing policies, conducting risk assessments, investigating incidents, enforcing safety regulations, and providing training to employees. They monitor workplace conditions, implement preventative measures, and advise management on health and safety matters to protect employee welfare and maintain compliance with HSE guidelines of the Organisation / OEM.

Key Responsibilities

Policy Development & Implementation:

Design, implement, and update health and safety policies and procedures to ensure they comply with national and international laws and industry standards.

Risk Assessment:

Identify potential workplace hazards through activities like JSO (Job Safety Observations) evaluate the associated risks, and recommend corrective actions to minimize them.

Safety Training & Awareness:

Provide safety induction training for new employees, conduct regular drills and training sessions, and promote a safety-first culture through awareness campaigns.

Incident Investigation & Reporting:

Investigate workplace accidents and near-misses, analyze the root causes, and submit reports to management and regulatory authorities.

Compliance & Monitoring:

Monitor and enforce compliance with OHS guidelines, such as those from OSHA and ISO, coordinate with auditors, and maintain all required safety documentation.

Workplace Inspections:

Conduct routine inspections of facilities, equipment, and processes to identify potential safety hazards and ensure adherence to safety standards.

Hazard Control:

Develop and enforce preventative measures to control identified hazards and prevent accidents.

Qualification :

B.Tech / BE / Diploma - Mechanical / Electrical / Automobile

Diploma in Safety from a Recognized Institute
