English Communication & Soft Skills Trainer

Role overview

You will design and deliver high-impact English communication and soft-skills training for students (ages 12–18). You’ll be responsible for creating outcome-focused lesson plans, running assessment-driven workshops, and demonstrating clear progress in student confidence and communication ability.

Key responsibilities
  • Deliver engaging, outcomes-oriented lessons: spoken English, pronunciation, listening, vocabulary in context, and applied grammar.
  • Run focused workshops: presentations, group discussions, mock-interviews, and interview bootcamps.
  • Design formative & summative assessments; track measurable progress and produce concise progress reports for parents.
  • Use child-sensitive pedagogy and know-how of adolescent psychology to connect, motivate and manage students effectively.
  • Mentor students individually where needed — helping shy or anxious learners build confidence.
  • Collaborate with academic team to integrate communication goals across curriculum and camps.

  • Noticeable improvement in students’ spoken confidence and clarity within weeks.
  • Higher participation in class discussions and presentations.
  • Improved performance in interview simulations and external assessments.
  • Positive parent feedback and demonstrable progress documented through assessments and portfolios.
Candidate profile
  • Exceptional spoken & written English; able to model clarity, tone and professional communication.
  • Strong soft-skills coaching ability and proven experience working with teens.
  • Deep understanding of adolescent psychology / child-sensitive teaching approaches.
  • Minimum 1 year classroom/training experience (school, coaching, corporate training preferred).
  • Energetic, patient, empathetic, and outcome-focused.
  • Comfortable with technology (Google Classroom, Zoom, presentation tools).
  • Hindi-English bilingual preferred to support transitional learning.
  • Extra credit: TESOL/TEFL/ELT or certifications in adolescent counselling/child psychology.
