Job Description: Senior Engineer – Construction Machinery Company Overview At Bull Machines Pvt. Ltd., we pride ourselves on innovation and excellence in the construction equipment industry. As we continue to grow, we are seeking a Senior Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role plays a crucial part in driving our engineering projects forward. Role Overview The Senior Engineer is a tenured member of our engineering department. You’ll provide technical leadership, mentor junior team members, and contribute to critical projects. Your expertise will shape our products and processes, ensuring they meet the highest standards. Responsibilities Technical Leadership: Work closely with engineers to understand the intricacies of backhoe loaders, skid steer loaders, telehandlers, and excavators. Participate in the design process, including concept development, 3D modelling, and detailed engineering. Contribute to structural analysis, material selection, and component design Vehicle Integration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams (mechanical, electrical, hydraulics) to ensure seamless integration of subsystems. Understand the interplay between engine performance, hydraulics, electronics, and operator comfort. Contribute to vehicle layout, ergonomics, and safety features. Prototyping and Testing: Assist in building prototypes and conducting validation tests. Analyze test data, identify areas for improvement, and propose design modifications. Gain hands-on experience in our state-of-the-art testing facilities. Innovation and Continuous Learning: Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices. Propose innovative solutions for enhancing equipment performance, efficiency, and reliability. Attend workshops, seminars, and technical conferences. Project Management: Set department goals and strategize action plans. Oversee big-ticket projects, ensuring successful execution. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project milestones. Innovation and Problem-Solving: Drive innovation by proposing new solutions and approaches. Solve technical challenges related to product design, manufacturing, and quality. Continuously improve processes and methodologies. Quality Assurance: Ensure that designs adhere to safety standards and industry best practices. Validate designs through simulations, testing, and analysis. Participate in design reviews and risk assessments. Collaboration: Work closely with R&D, manufacturing, and procurement teams. Communicate effectively with stakeholders to achieve project objectives. Foster a collaborative environment within the engineering department. Qualifications Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Automobile). Experience: Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in product design, development Proficiency in CAD software (Creo) and simulation tools. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
